Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest update involving Mohamed Elyounoussi and Kristoffer Ajer that recently emerged on social media.

The Celtic Twitter account recently relayed a tweet concerning both the Norwegian players. The club confirmed that both Elyounoussi and Ajer will now be able to take part in training with the Celtic first team and can also feature in games for the club.

This comes after doubt was cast over their inclusion ahead of Celtic’s upcoming game against Hibs. Their Norway teammate Omar Elabdellaoui had tested positive for the virus and the squad was not allowed to leave Oslo for a game against Romania. Both the players had, as a result, returned to Scotland on the condition that they would be in isolation for 10 days (as per the Daily Record).

Now that it is clear that Ajer and Elyounoussi can play for Celtic, some Bhoys fans flocked to the club’s tweet about this.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Norwegian laws wouldn’t apply in Scotland and whether the players would’ve had to quarantine was to be decided by the Scottish authorities.

Some other Celtic fans also made their delight clear about this update involving the players.

22-year-old Ajer has picked up a rating of 7.17/10 in the Premiership (as per WhoScored) this season and as a result, he has been the club’s seventh-highest-rated player in the campaign. Elyounoussi, on the other hand, scored a hat-trick against Motherwell and that might be a sign that he’s now in form.

So these are two players that are important for Celtic and having them available for the game against Hibs is a huge boost for the Bhoys.
