Edouard was linked with a move to clubs like Aston Villa and Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window. French club Monaco had an approach rejected by Celtic in January 2020. Leicester were also linked with a move for the Frenchman (as per the Sun).

The Frenchman had tested positive for the virus during the previous international break and he has made eight Premiership appearances this season. Some other Celtic fans also discussed this tweet involving the striker.

Some of these Celtic fans aren’t happy with the Daily Record but one fan believes that Edouard and Olivier Ntcham look lazy this season.

Edouard has picked up a rating of 7.29 in the Premiership this season and has contributed to five goals in the league already. Because of that, he has been the club’s fourth-best player in the campaign and that might be a reflection of the fact that he’s had a decent season. So it is understandable why some Celtic fans aren’t happy with the Daily Record for the article about the Frenchman.
