Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been responding to a tweet that was recently posted by @LastWordOnSpurs in which they relayed some footage of Manchester City players Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus confronting referee Mike Dean at the end of the first half of Saturday’s Premier League meeting between Spurs and City.
Spurs won this game 2-0 thanks to a fifth-minute strike from Heung-min Son and a 65th-minute goal from Giovani Lo Celso. However, as per the BBC, Manchester City were left ‘nursing a sense of injustice’ as centre-back Aymeric Laporte had a first-half equaliser ruled out by the Video Assistant Referee after Jesus was deemed to have handled the ball.
In this footage shared by @LastWordOnSpurs – that was originally posted on Twitter by @footballdaily from Sky Sports’ coverage – Jesus and De Bruyne can be seen disputing the decision to disallow Laporte’s equaliser with Dean, while the referee defended the decision.
So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to this footage of Dean, Jesus and De Bruyne?

Some of the Spurs fans that replied to this post were critical of Manchester City’s players, with some Tottenham supporters sharing some harsh words for De Bruyne, in particular.

Meanwhile, some fans of the north London club backed the referee, with one Spurs fan stating that Dean refereed this game ‘brilliantly’ and some other Lilywhites supporters indicating that they think it was the right decision to disallow Laporte’s goal.
How are people even debating this? Clear handball. ?????

I’ve got to say Mike Dean refereed the match brilliantly yesterday – credit where it’s due

Mike Dean makes correct decision that favours Spurs and the opposition are shocked and disappointed.

Was it the right decision to rule out Laporte's goal?
YES
NO
So, judging by these tweets, it certainly doesn’t seem like De Bruyne’s and Jesus’ conduct at the end of the first half has gone down well with many Spurs fans.
