Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Phil Hay reports that Ezgjan Alioski has entered into contract renewal talks with the club.
According to Hay, who tweeted a link to his report for The Athletic, Marcelo Bielsa’s side are in talks with the North Macedonian, and, while the discussions are thought to be in the preliminary stages, an agreement between the two parties is expected.
So, what did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to the news of Ezgjan Alioski’s contract talks?
Not good enough sorry. He's a great character but way out of his depth in the Premier league, him and a few others.

Since arriving at Elland Road back in 2017, the £3.15 million-rated 28-year-old has gone on to feature 141 times for the club, scoring 20 goals and providing 16 assists along the way.
So far this season, the versatile left midfielder has featured seven times for Bielsa’s side in the Premier League, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.51 – ranking him as the club’s 11th-best performer in the top flight.
Do you think Alioski deserves a new contract at Leeds?
Yes
No
However, it would seem that many of these Leeds fans are not overly keen for the club to extend Alioski’s current deal with the Whites, which is set to expire next summer.

New contract? Wow. I mean I like the guy, but he’s absolutely not a player that will take us forward in the PL… https://t.co/OZnioXMZxE

However, a few Leeds fans are all for the idea.

Fantastic player to have in the squad, versatile, a character in the dressing room, speaks several languages, gives 100%. New contract gives him a few more years and sell on value aswell. No brainier surely

All in all, it would appear the majority of these Leeds fans are not in favour of Alioski being awarded a new contract at Elland Road, with some claiming that the 28-year-old is not good enough for the Premier League, while others have stated their belief that the midfielder is a player the club should be looking to move on.
