How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

Coyte, a broadcaster, spent a bit of time talking about the last transfer window, which saw the likes of Gareth Bale, Matt Doherty, and Sergio Reguilon arrive in North London.

While he was talking about the transfer window, Coyte revealed Daniel Levy’s apparent love for Bale, and that could explain why the Welsh international has returned to Spurs.

He said: “This is what I had heard from someone high up at Spurs about a year ago.

“We were talking about Gareth Bale, and he’s someone that had been at the club for a long time.

“He said to me, ‘there are two players that Daniel has always truly loved,’ and he said one of them was Gareth Bale.

“[He was one] of his favourite players that he would always talk about.

“So, there was always a great love for Gareth Bale as far as Danny [Levy] was concerned.”

Do you think Levy loves Bale?

Yes, he clearly does

TIF Thoughts on Levy’s love for Bale…

In Bale’s first spell at Spurs, he made 203 appearances, scored 56 goals, and provided 58 assists.

What makes this even more impressive is that he played at left-back in 41 of those appearances but then gradually moved further forward and played mainly as a left midfielder and became a world-class player.

So, looking at these statistics and his progression, we are not surprised that Levy supposedly loves Bale.

Perhaps that love was one of the reasons Spurs brought him back to North London in the last transfer window?

Certainly, signing a player of Bale’s reputation and ability on loan could turn out to be a masterstroke by Levy, if he can get himself up to 100% fitness, which he is working on.

Since returning to Tottenham, Bale has already scored one goal and provided one assist in six games across all competitions, so he has already made some impact.

We can certainly see why Levy apparently loves Bale, and therefore we understand why he decided to bring him back from Real Madrid in the last transfer window.
