Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by the Lilywhites’ official Twitter account in which they shared some images of attacking midfielder Dele Alli in training.
While Spurs sit just one point off the top of the Premier League table eight games into the season, it may be fair to say that Alli hasn’t been enjoying a very positive 2020/21 campaign.
The £46.8m-rated man has played just 67 minutes of top-flight football so far this term – a lower amount of game time than as many as 19 other Spurs players have enjoyed so far this season – and he has earned an overall WhoScored rating of just 6.27 from his performances in the league so far this season, which is a lower overall rating than 19 other Tottenham players have earned from the stats website.
This tweet from the club was posted in response to a Twitter user who sent the club a tweet asking for ‘Dele content’ and it features two images of the 24-year-old in training.
So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to this tweet from the club sharing these Alli images?
