Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently reacted to a transfer report which has linked Spurs with RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer.

According to SportBILD, as cited by Sport Witness, Jose Mourinho’s outfit is keen on a move to seal the arrival of the Austrian midfielder from his Bundesliga club.

The player’s contract is currently set to expire in 2022 and it is claimed that a new deal for the 26-year-old middleman would be ‘too expensive’ for Leipzig.

It is stated in the report that the player finds the prospect of the Premier League ‘exciting’ and Tottenham are the keenest on Sabitzer of any English club.

SportBILD’s article also claims that the Austrian, who has a market value of £31.5m according to Transfermarkt, would be available for somewhere in the region of €30m (£26.6m).

This report was relayed to Spurs fans on Twitter by Hotspur Related, and it had lots of them talking.
