Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Spurs and Everton had multiple bids rejected for Chelsea centre-back, Kurt Zouma.

According to the report by L’Equipe (via Sport Witness), both Tottenham and Everton ‘sent offers’ to Chelsea for Zouma over the summer transfer window, while also claiming that the defender would not have ‘looked unfavourably’ at a move to either Jose Mourinho’s or Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

So, what did these Tottenham Hostpur fans have to say in reaction to the transfer news regarding Kurt Zouma?

Despite these Spurs fans appearing to hold the belief that Zouma is not good enough to get into their side, the £27 million-rated 26-year-old has highly impressed for Chelsea so far this season, scoring three goals, as well as making an average of 1.3 interceptions and 5.1 clearances per game, over his seven league fixtures, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 7.37 – ranking him as the club’s third-best performer in the Premier League.

However, in contrast to the previous comments, other Spurs fans appeared to be rather more disappointed at the news their club missed out on signing the centre-back.

All in all, it would appear that opinion is rather split amongst these Spurs fans as to whether or not they are pleased their club missed out on signing Zouma during the summer transfer window, with some stating their belief that 26-year-old is not good enough to get into the Tottenham team, while others appeared to rue the missed opportunity.
