Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Spurs have been offered the chance to re-sign Christian Eriksen in the January transfer window.
According to the report by Football Insider, a ‘recruitment source’ has claimed that Eriksen has been offered to Spurs, as well as other ‘leading’ Premier League sides, ahead of the January 2021 transfer window.
The report claims that Inter, who Eriksen only joined in a £24.3 million deal from Tottenham back in January, were ‘keen’ to loan the £45 million-rated 28-year-old out over the summer transfer window, and will allow any interested parties the opportunity to ‘swoop’ for the midfielder this winter.
So, what did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to news of the club being offered the chance to re-sign Christian Eriksen?
NOOOOO

Only if he introspects himself for being lazy and want to change himslef back as a good player then we welcome him back. Otherwise is just a waste of money

No. We need to move on. Bale is ok because he wanted to comeback and play for us. Eriksen wanted out since after the champions league final.
We should focus on selling Alli, Rose & Sanchez. Then bring in a centerback.

Since making the move to Serie A, Eriksen has not exactly set the world alight at Inter.
Last season, the midfielder made more league appearances from the bench (nine), than he did in Antonio Conte’s starting XI (eight), scoring one goal and providing two assists, while averaging a disappointing WhoScored match rating of 6.6/10 – ranking him as the club’s 21st-best player in the league.
Would you take Christian Eriksen back at Spurs?
Yes
No
Things haven’t improved for the Denmark international so far this term, either, with the 28-year-old featuring five times in Serie A, scoring no goals and providing no assists, while averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.36.
As such, it is perhaps not surprising to see that these Tottenham fans are not overly keen on the idea of Eriksen returning to their club.
If he’s gonna walk around and just cover grass than no not interested. He needs to be motivated and mentally in the right place

He let us down in the end, clearly didn’t want to play for us or the shirt

All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Spurs fans are not interested in the idea of their club making a move to re-sign Eriksen, as many still clearly feel annoyed about the way he left, while others appear to believe that the midfielder’s work ethic is not good enough.
