A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from Nick De Marco after he tweeted about the Toon’s win over Everton in the Premier League.
De Marco, who is one of two lawyers hired by Mike Ashley in an attempt to get the proposed takeover by PCP Capital Partners, PIF and the Reuben brothers through via the courts, congratulated Newcastle on their win over the Toffees, and his post drew the attention of many Toon fans, writing ‘Well Done NUFC!’ following their 2-1 victory.
So, what did these Toon fans think of De Marco’s post?
Love you Nick can’t wait for you to save our club

Do you think De Marco will get this takeover done?
Yes, he will see us through
No, nothing will happen
De Marco, who is described as the “Lionel Messi of Sports Law“, has been tasked with forcing through the takeover of Newcastle along with Shaheed Fatima.
Last week, a legal challenge was launched by Newcastle Consortium Supporters Ltd, and it was said to have the backing of Mike Ashley.
However, there was no mention of De Marco in the statement published by the group.
So, it is unclear if he is involved in this or if De Marco is involved in a separate challenge from Ashley.
However, De Marco’s post continued to draw the attention of many Newcastle fans.
Legend.

The takeover by the Saudi-backed consortium was initially withdrawn on 30th July after the Premier League refused to make a decision on it.
They then tried again behind closed doors, but the result was the same, which led Ashley to appoint De Marco and Fatima as he looked to force through the takeover.
So, it remains to be seen what happens with this legal action and if De Marco is involved at all, but for now, many Toon fans are just pleased to see De Marco tweeting about their club.
