Who did Leeds sign from a La Liga side in September?

One topic which he spent a little bit of time on was injury and fitness updates for a few players ahead of the Whites’ clash with Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

While he was talking about this, he had a short update on Rodrigo, who has tested positive for a viral infection.

It seems as if, according to Hay, Rodrigo is the only positive case amid the current pandemic, and he will be tested again next week.

He said: “Injury-wise or fitness-wise, Rodrigo is obviously missing with [a positive virus test], he is going to be re-evaluated next week.

“He is the only case at Leeds, which is very good news, and there are no other issues amongst the squad.”

Do you think Leeds will miss Rodrigo against Palace?

TIF Thoughts on Rodrigo and Hay’s update on him…

Leeds confirmed earlier in the week that the Spaniard had to isolate because he had come into contact with someone who had tested positive for the virus and would miss the match against Leicester City, before testing positive himself.

However, given that it is an international break after this round of fixtures, Rodrigo should have plenty of time to recover for the Whites’ clash with Arsenal at Elland Road.

Before the game against Leicester, Rodrigo had played a part in every Premier League game for the Whites and had scored one goal for his new team.

It is good to hear that his situation has not affected anyone else at Leeds, and hopefully, he is back fit for the match against the Gunners.
