A lot of Leeds United supporters have been replying to a tweet from @90min_Football that shares an exclusive report in which it is claimed that Marcelo Bielsa’s side has been offered the chance to sign Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig on loan in January.

This report states that the £18m-rated (as per Transfermarkt) La Masia graduate’s agent is keen to secure a loan move for the midfielder in January, with current Barca boss Ronald Koeman also said to be in favour of Puig departing from Camp Nou temporarily in the next transfer window. This mightn’t be a big surprise given that the Dutch coach has played Puig just once this term.

As per 90min, Leeds’ style of play is seen as a good fit for Puig and that may explain the 21-year-old’s links to Elland Road, though Leeds aren’t the only club that have seemingly been offered Puig’s services, with this report stating that ‘several sides’ have been approached about signing him on loan in January until the end of the season.

So, how did these Leeds United fans react to this transfer claim on Barcelona’s Riqui Puig?

Many of the Leeds fans who replied to this tweet reacted positively to this transfer claim and indicated that they think this would be a good bit of business from the Elland Road outfit.
