The mural of the midfielder is being painted at the side of a building in The Calls. This follows the creation of a large mural of Marcelo Bielsa in the Hyde Park area of Leeds back in September.
Phillips is currently nursing a shoulder injury and the Englishman has missed the club’s last three Premier League games in the campaign so far. His tweet though, left many other Leeds fans talking.
You can’t leave now Kalvin…like ever!! ????????????#lufc

The comments of the fans show the affection that they have for Phillips and some of them are making it clear that they don’t want the midfielder to leave the club.
Phillips has been the club’s fourth-highest-rated player in the current league campaign. Last season in the Championship, the 24-year-old had picked up a rating of 7.22/10 under Bielsa. Meanwhile, in the 2018/19 Championship season, Phillips racked up a solid rating of 6.98 (as per Whoscored).
This shows that he’s been an important player for the Whites over the last few seasons and because of that, it is understandable why fans have such a liking for Phillips.
