A lot of Leeds United fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by the club’s official Twitter account which relayed the news that the Whites’ U23s suffered a 4-3 loss to Newcastle United’s U23s in their latest Premier League 2 Division Two fixture.
This game gave Leeds’ U23s their third defeat of the 2020/21 Premier League 2 campaign.
They got off to a positive start versus the North East side, as they took a 3-0 lead in the first half thanks to two goals from Liam McCarron and one goal from Joe Gelhardt.
However, the scoreline was 3-1 by half-time as Yannick Toure pulled one back in the 33rd minute and Newcastle’s U23s went on to score three more in the second half to complete their comeback and take all three points.

Some Whites fans slammed Leeds U23s manager Mark Jackson, indicating that they blame him for this result.
Absolute joke from Jackson in this game, that 2nd half is entirely the coaching staffs fault , the players didn’t do enough to get round the nonsensical system they were playing in but the response to Newcastle’s system change at half time was embarrassing
