The 24-year-old Phillips has made five Premier League appearances this season but he missed the club’s last three league games because of the shoulder injury. He has one assist in his bag and that came against Liverpool in Leeds’ first game of the campaign (as per Transfermarkt).
In Phillips’ absence, Leeds lost 4-1 to Leicester City and Crystal Palace. Some other Leeds fans also flocked to the tweet that Walker had posted on Twitter.

So far in the Premier League this season, Phillips has picked up a rating of 6.94. As a result, he has been the club’s fourth-best performing player in the campaign. He has won the highest number of tackles per game for the Whites and he has the fourth-best tally when it comes to interceptions per game (as per WhoScored).
That is a reflection of how important Phillips is for Leeds and his return could prove to be a massive boost for Bielsa’s men.
