Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Phil Hay comments on Scotland’s victory over Serbia on Thursday evening.
In the fixture, Scotland overcame Serbia in their European Championship play-off final clash, which saw Steve Clarke’s side end their 23-year wait to feature in a major international competition, thanks to David Marshall’s save from Aleksandar Mitrovic’s penalty in the shoot-out, after the game had finished 1-1 AET.
In reaction, Hay, a Scot himself, then tweeted: “Oooooooooh, it’s Mitro”
So, what did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to Phil Hay’s tweet?

It would appear that these Leeds fans are pleased it was Mitrovic who missed the decisive penalty for Serbia, something which it would seem is down to the fact that the 26-year-old, who is valued at £19.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), had previously elbowed then-Leeds United defender Ben White in a clash with Fulham last season, which subsequently saw the striker receive a three-game ban.
Are you pleased it was Mitrovic who missed for Serbia?
Yes
No
So satisfying that it was him. ?

All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Leeds fans are delighted that it was Mitrovic who cost Serbia a place at the European Championships next summer by missing the crucial penalty in the shoot-out, with many rather sarcastically suggesting that it couldn’t have happened to a nicer player.
