Many Celtic fans have been talking about Scott Sinclair after a tweet involving him recently emerged on social media.

Sinclair was recently speaking on Sky Sports’ Soccer AM and he talked about his time at Celtic. The Englishman said that joining Celtic was one of the best decisions that he ever made in his career.

He said that he didn’t realise how big it is to play for Celtic but once he began playing for the Bhoys, he realised that it is a “massive club”.

Sinclair had joined Celtic from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016 for a fee of £3.69 million. He left Celtic in January 2020 to join Championship club Preston North End (as per Transfermarkt).

In the interview, Sinclair said that his stint at Celtic was one of the best times of his career and he wants to keep moving forward and wants to make memories at Preston.

Some other Celtic fans also talked about Sinclair and his time at Parkhead.

These Celtic fans clearly have a lot of admiration for Sinclair and one fan believes that Neil Lennon ‘wasted’ the former Aston Villa man.

He played only 17 minutes of Premiership football in the 2019/20 season, but in total, Sinclair made 167 appearances in all competitions for the Bhoys and scored 62 goals while picking up 36 assists as well.

He won as many as three Premiership titles at the club and won just as many Scottish Cup titles.

That shows the sort of impact he made at Parkhead and while he did run out of game time in his final season with the club, Celtic fans clearly have a lot of liking for the Englishman.
