To kick off this quiz on Joao Moutinho, what squad number does the midfielder currently wear for Wolves?

One of the players that Thomlinson mentioned and spent a bit of time on was Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 20-year-old, who is valued at £19.8m by Transfermarkt, was signed from Lazio in the summer of 2019, and he made 29 Premier League appearances last season but 20 of those were from the bench.

This season, Neto has started every league game for Wolves, and he has scored one goal and provided one assist in those games while earning an average rating of 7.03.

It seems as if Thomlinson has been impressed by Neto, and he highlights a few statistics that show that Neto is having a positive impact on Wolves’ games.

He said: “[He] had an ok season last year, only nine [league] starts, but I think six goal involvements in those nine starts and [he] has started this season brilliantly.

“Diogo Jota has moved on; it looks like he’s going to more than fill those boots.

“He’s started in every single league game so far this season.

“[He has been] putting up over two key passes, over two shots, over two dribbles [per game].

“Very, very impressive in what is a proper system team.”

“I think Pedro Neto is probably the guy to watch out for in terms of 20-year-olds this season.”

Do you think Neto can become one of Wolves' best players?

TIF Thoughts on Thomlinson’s view on Neto…

Thomlinson highlights a few statistics, and the video was released on Sunday, so since Wolves’ game with Leeds United, Neto’s key passes per game, shots per game, and dribbles per game have all changed.

However, he has still clearly had a good start to the season and is also getting plenty of game time, so it will be interesting to see how he does as the season goes on.
