Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting angrily to a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account, which confirmed that their fixture against West Bromwich Albion in November has been moved to a 12pm kick-off.
The tweet confirmed that the game has been rescheduled for a 12pm kick-off on Sunday 8 November, with the club’s website also confirming that the game at the Hawthorns will be available to watch live via Sky Sports Box Office (per Tottenham Hotspur). This means that Spurs will now have two consecutive Premier League fixtures available to watch through the pay-per-view scheme, as their fixture at home to Brighton this Sunday is also on Box Office (per BBC Sport).
The pay-per-view scheme has come under a lot of criticism from fans since it was introduced, with fans raising over £300,000 for charity by donating the money they would have spent on watching the match, with matches currently priced at £14.95 (per BBC Sport).
