Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some quotes from Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin regarding Harry Kane.
The 23-year-old spoke to the media about the England captain, following his recent call-up to Gareth Southgate’s side, saying, as per Sky Sports:
“I am always learning and he’s been scoring for a long period. He’s got lots to his game I can learn from. He is where he is for a reason. He’s worked hard, got great ability and scores.”
The former Sheffield United man has started the season in electric form for the Toffees, having contributed nine goals in six club appearances in all competitions, including six goals in four Premier League games, which has seen him average an impressive 8.32 rating (per WhoScored).
The striker scored the winner for Everton when they faced Spurs in their opening fixture of the season, and following his comments regarding Kane, it seems as if a lot of Lilywhites supporters are keen to see the young forward link up with him at club level.

Overall, it seems as if a lot of Spurs fans would love to see Calvert-Lewin join their club, but considering the way he has started the season for the current table-toppers, it is hard to see the £21.6 million-rated man leaving Merseyside anytime soon.
