Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the reported news that the club has been trialling a test for the current viral outbreak that could produce close to instant results.
According to The Athletic (via Hotspur Related), the north London club have been trialling the test at Hotspur Way over the past month, and it is providing a real cause for encouragement at the moment.
If Spurs could develop a test that works effectively and efficiently, then perhaps it could eventually be shared around the Football League, and perhaps prevent lower league clubs for having to pay for their own tests, as we saw recently when Spurs paid for Leyton Orient’s testing before their Carabao Cup tie, which was eventually cancelled due to several of the League Two side’s players testing positive for the viral infection (per BBC).
