Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some news from Football.london journalist Alasdair Gold which suggests that the Tottenham staff have been ‘blown away’ by Gareth Bale in training this week.
The journalist suggested in his recent YouTube video (via The Spurs Express), that the Welsh international has impressed the Tottenham staff with his quality and drive in training this week, as he continues to regain fitness following the knee injury that has kept him out of action since he re-joined the north London club on loan from Real Madrid.
Considering he has been impressing in training during the international break, perhaps it would not be a surprise to see him feature against West Ham in Spurs’ next Premier League fixture. The Welsh international will no doubt be hoping to add to the impressive 56 goals and 58 assists he contributed in his last spell with the Lilywhites (per Transfermarkt), and perhaps he could prove to be the difference as Jose Mourinho’s side attempt to win their first silverware since 2008 this season.
