During the podcast, Crafton had this to say on Levy’s stance on the matter.

He said: “In terms of the timescale, it’s three years and then adding into that, I think more recently, Chelsea have become more involved. Bruce Buck, senior executive at Chelsea, has taken a leading role.

“I don’t think that Daniel Levy at Tottenham is unsupportive. I think that’s maybe a generous way of putting it.”

Some of the changes put forward in the proposal include changing the voting structure of the Premier League, as well as the funding models for the EFL and FA.

In response to this proposal, the Premier League released a statement on Sunday in which they said that ‘a number of the individual proposals in the plan published today could have a damaging impact on the whole game’ going forward.

From what Crafton had to say in the podcast, it appears that Levy is not in the same boat as the Premier League is, as he is not too unsupportive of the proposal.

Moving forward it’ll be interesting to see what the next step will be regarding Project Big Picture and if any major changes will be made in any of the areas highlighted in the proposal.
