On the latest video for his YouTube channel, Chris Cowlin welcomed Jamie Brown from the Daily Hotspur, to preview Tottenham Hotspur’s game against West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.

One topic of discussion during the video was West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen, and the threat he potentially poses to Jose Mourinho’s side. The former Hull City man has started the season in fine form for the Hammers, having contributed three goals in four Premier League appearances, which has seen him average a strong 7.20 rating (per WhoScored). Therefore, you can perhaps see why Brown identifies the 23-year-old as a threat to Spurs ahead of the London derby on Sunday afternoon.

How well can you remember the last few weeks of Spurs action? 1. Which played scored a hattrick against Maccabi Haifa?

Here’s what he had to say about Bowen during the video:

“Jarrod Bowen is the one that has impressed me just as much as [Michail] Antonio has. He has shown that he is a versatile forward, I think he’s got a number of goals and assists. He’s definitely another one to watch out [for].

“I think he was pivotal in that win against Leicester, he’s really good at getting forward all the time so I think he will be another one, along with Antonio, that Spurs will have to look out for on the weekend.”

TIF Thoughts…

Brown certainly thinks that the likes of Bowen and Antonio could cause problems for the Spurs backline on Sunday. Considering the Lilywhites are yet to keep a clean sheet in any game this season, whilst David Moyes’ side come into the game off the back of two impressive wins against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City, it perhaps wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Hammers’ attacking players do some damage in Sunday’s game.

Are you worried about the threat of Bowen on Sunday?

No

However, if Spurs can keep Bowen quiet, after his superb display against the Foxes last time out, then you would argue that they have a good chance of securing all three points.
