Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a tweet from Football.london journalist Alasdair Gold regarding Tottenham Hotspur winger Jack Clarke.
The journalist tweeted a link to his article on the young winger after he earned a spot in Jose Mourinho’s squad for the Europa League group stages. The 19-year-old was signed from Leeds United last summer but endured two disappointing loan spells with Leeds and QPR respectively in the Championship last season, making just seven substitute appearances in the league across his two spells (per WhoScored).
However, it seems as if he has impressed Mourinho with his efforts in pre-season and whilst he is yet to make a competitive appearance for the senior side at Tottenham, it seems as if he is in line to feature in some of Spurs’ Europa League group stage games. Gold also suggests that the Lilywhites have rebuffed interest from Championship clubs in the winger so that he can develop his game alongside Gareth Bale, who returned to the north London club on loan in the recent transfer window.
Do you think Clarke could make his debut for Spurs soon?

in pre season i said it could be a good idea to have stay and have a learning year with Jose and and the team. his 2 loans were a waste of time.

He can only improve by watching how the likes of Harry & Gareth go about things. Plus Gareth being a winger too, it will be only a positive impact & situation where young Jack is concerned. Clarke will kick on from here, which is good for us, him and the team
