Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have taken to social media to slate Dele Alli’s performance in the 1-0 defeat to Royal Antwerp.
On Thursday night, Jose Mourinho’s outfit suffered a 1-0 defeat in the Europa League at the hands of the Belgian side (per BBC).
The north London club went a goal down in the match at the Bosuilstadion after a mistake from Ben Davies led to Lior Refaelov opening the scoring (per Goal).
While Alli started the match for Spurs, he was hauled off at half time and replaced by Erik Lamela.
During the match, lots of Tottenham fans took to social media to air their fury with the performance which the English midfielder delivered in Belgium.
So, what did these Spurs fans have to say about Dele Alli’s performance?
Can we all finally agree Dele Alli is awful and needs to go for himself and us and Harry Winks is the same not good enough and all this sentimentality needs to go now. Would rather have Skipp playing surely?

If Dele Alli is proving any point at all, it’s that people who said he’s not good enough anymore are correct

Didn’t think Vinicius did much wrong to get a hook at half time. Alli is stealing a living at the moment. His head has totally gone.

Embarrassing from Dele as well, only word to describe it

Alli was not the only player to be substituted off the pitch by Mourinho at the break, as Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn and Carlos Vinicius were also replaced.
Do you think Dele Alli is 'finished' at Spurs?
No, he's still got quality
Yes, he's not good enough
Dele is horrible, anyone with eyes can see that, he’s stealing a living from spurs right now

Hes finished
We keep saying to give him a few games to find rhythm, or hes low on confidence and thats why. But hes had plenty opportunities and hes just not taken them because in my opinion he cant. Hes finished as a top 6 player
Hes living off of past glories

So far this season, Alli has made just two Premier League appearances for Spurs, in which he has neither scored a goal nor assisted one (per WhoScored).
Across the two outings, the 24-year-old middleman has earned a 6.27/10 average rating which has made him the fourth-worst performer for Tottenham so far this season.
Very disappointing, didn’t take his chance to impress, didn’t look fit or show any urgency or desire. Jose was right to make the changes.

lost possession 11 times says it all…He will need a big turn around

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs supporters, many of them were frustrated with the Englishman following his performance against Royal Antwerp.
