A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been replying to a tweet that was recently posted by Football.london journalist Alasdair Gold in which he provided a fitness update on Spurs left-back Sergio Reguilon.
The 2019/20 UEFA Europa League winner, who joined Spurs from Real Madrid last month, was called up to Luis Enrique’s Spain squad for the current international break, however, he was taken off at half time in his national team’s recent 0-0 draw with Portugal after picking up ‘a knock.’
As per Football.london, Enrique has since provided an update on the 23-year-old and the Spain coach revealed that Reguilon is now training at 100% and will be available for Spain’s next game versus Switzerland on Saturday.
After Gold relayed Enrique’s update on the Tottenham left-back via a tweet, this post caught the attention of many Spurs supporters who replied to his tweet to share their thoughts on this news.
Good news on Sergio Reguilon and that knock he picked up against Portugal as Luis Enrique confirms he's fine and will be available to face Switzerland tomorrow.

Some Tottenham fans shared a sense of relief that Reguilon is fit once again in response to this update.

However, many more Spurs supporters shared some concern over the possibility that Reguilon will now play again for Spain in their next fixture despite being taken off at half-time in their last game.
I wish they would rest him so we can get him back in ine piece from these pointless international friendlies

I’d be much happier if he was fine, but NOT facing Switzerland tomorrow

Good he isn’t injured but bad he’s playing again, should be rested ?

Are you happy about this update?
YES
NO
That’s not good news. We need him back at Hotspur Way immediately
— Andy Perry (@andyperry79) October 9, 2020
Thats bad news, would rather he did not play ?

Pheew ??
Dont play Sergio at all . Fly him home to Spurs camp— Teddan (@TedTorndal) October 9, 2020
So, as can be seen in these Spurs fans’ replies to Gold’s tweet, while most Tottenham supporters seem happy that Reguilon’s knock doesn’t appear to be particularly serious, a lot of them also seem to think that he shouldn’t play for his national team again so soon after being taken off due to a knock in their last game.
