Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed recent comments made by summer signing, Joe Hart.
The tweet, posted by Hotspur Related, contained comments made by Hart in an interview with the BBC, in which the goalkeeper discussed his decision to join Spurs this summer, stating that he realised he loved ‘being at the top’ and that he enjoyed ‘being around a club where you play three games a week and if you don’t win it is a big deal’.
He continued by stating that he was aware he was not signed as the club’s number-one ‘keeper but feels that his signing was with the aim ‘to make Tottenham better’ as a team.
So, what did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to Joe Hart’s comments?
Anyone else love this guy ? Not the greatest keeper, but a great guy to have

He knows he won’t be the top but is super professional about it, so many people overlooked his signing but he’s doing so well

So far this season, Hart, who is valued at £2.16 million (as per Transfermarkt), has featured three times for Tottenham, prior to Thursday’s clash with Royal Antwerp, all of which have come in the Europa League and Europa League qualifying.
Has Joe Hart won you over?
Yes
No
However, it would appear that the ‘keeper has earned the spot as Jose Mourinho’s number-two choice in goal, as he has sat on the bench for all of Tottenham’s Premier League fixtures so far this season, in addition to the fact that Mourinho decided to leave Paulo Gazzaniga out of the club’s squad for their Europa League fixtures.
Big guy knows his chances will come!! Great presence to have around the club, like Bale. Guys that have won the big prizes can only have a positive influence on the rest of the squad.

This guy IS a winner. A good talker that will be on your back for 90+ minutes, motivating the back 4. Like Josè, 2nd place is not acceptable!!!

Free Joe Hart a better back up goalkeeper than 75m Kepa

All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Spurs fans are delighted with Hart’s recent comments, and are very pleased with the 33-year-old’s performances for the club when he has been called upon this season.
