A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from Nick De Marco that contains two loaves of bread that he made.
De Marco is one of the lawyers that Mike Ashley has appointed as he seeks to force through the proposed takeover by PCP Capital Partners, PIF and the Reuben brothers.
The lawyer, who is described as the “Lionel Messi of Sports Law“, has put up quite a few pictures in recent weeks that have made many Toon fans speculate about the proposed takeover.
These have included a post of an oil painting, and also a picture of a cathedral in black and white.
This latest image has had the same effect, and it has many Newcastle fans discussing what it means for the proposed takeover.
So, what did these Newcastle fans think of De Marco’s post?
Dose the holes are good meant the premier league defence is full of holes and the flavour great mean he tastes success ??

If you’re as good at sports law as you are at baking bread then we’re in safe hands Nick. Enjoy!

Hidden messages. Two slices representing 10% and the big slice 80% share. Takeover immanent

Newcastle Twitter goes into meltdown again

Do you think this means anything?
No, this one means nothing
Yes, it is a positive sign
Ashley appointed De Marco and Shaheed Fatima soon after Newcastle released a statement claiming that the Premier League blocked the proposed takeover.
The league denied this, but since the lawyers came onboard, it is thought that things are happening in the background – though nothing has been said publicly.
De Marco’s latest tweet has clearly got some Toon fans excited but others just find this whole thing funny.
And here we go again ????

Stop it ?

While we understand why many Newcastle fans are excited over this post, it really does look like it is just the lawyer showing off his baking skills.
However, it remains to be seen if both he and Fatima do grant Ashley’s wish and force the takeover through.
