Many Leeds United supporters have flocked to social media in order to react to a post from the club’s official Twitter account which includes an image of Kalvin Phillips following his appearance for England during their recent UEFA Nations League victory over Belgium.
The midfielder came on to replace Jordan Henderson after 66 minutes, earning his third international cap as Gareth Southgate’s side held on to a 2-1 lead to defeat Roberto Martinez’s side.
So, what did these Leeds fans think of the club’s post on Kalvin Phillips?
Looked very relaxed and not at all out of place. His passing was very crisp and sharp. Well done. Now hurry bak to Elland Road before u get injured ?

It’s clear from the above responses these Leeds United supporters are extremely proud of the 24-year-old with some, even if slightly tongue in cheek, suggesting that Martinez withdrew Kevin De Bruyne from the field due to the introduction of the Englishman.

Can Kalvin Phillips go on to become a first-team regular for England?
Yes
No
Phillips has appeared four times in the Premier League so far this season and having earned himself an average performance rating in the competition of 7.15/10 (as per WhoScored), as well as representing England, in our view, he has displayed his ability to compete at the highest level having stepped up from the Championship.
