A lot of Leeds United fans have flocked to a post from Andrea Radrizzani which includes a link to a tweet from Liam Cooper that confirms that the Leeds squad are going to donate £25,000 to help feed starving children.
This led to their owner putting up a post calling the squad a ‘great group‘ and Cooper a ‘humble and generous captain.’
Radrizzani later confirmed in the replies that the club would match the donation made by the team.
This original post from Radrizzani, though, drew a huge amount of attention from a lot of very proud Leeds fans.
So, what did these Leeds fans think of Radrizzani’s post?
Unbelievable what’s happened, last couple seasons. You have been amazing. What you reckon. ..3/4 years till title? Go on boss

Are you happy with this gesture?
Yes, incredible from the team and Radrizzani
No, could donate more
This donation has been made in support of Marcus Rashford’s campaign aiming to give children around the country free school meals, and it looks like the Whites have made a sizeable donation to the cause.
It is also good to see that Radrizzani and the club have decided to match the offer from the squad, and to us, this is a brilliant gesture from the club and their owner.
Since Radrizzani bought a 100% stake in the Whites in 2017, he has transformed the club and now has them in the Premier League with Marcelo Bielsa as their manager – and it is clear that many Leeds fans are grateful for Radrizzani.
Other Whites supporters, though, used this tweet to heap praise on Liam Cooper instead.
We can all be proud of our captain. A gentleman on and off the pitch. Hope the recovery is going well @LiamCooper__ get back on the pitch soon.

He certainly is a great captain @LiamCooper__ on and off the pitch ??

Cooper has undergone some transformation himself under Bielsa as he was once not considered good enough for the Championship, but now he is the captain of the club in the Premier League.
All in all, you can understand why so many Leeds fans are proud of their club for what the players and staff have achieved in recent times on and off the pitch.
