Many Celtic fans have been raving at the latest tweet that Shane Duffy recently relayed on social media.
Duffy’s latest tweet came after Celtic’s 2-1 win over St. Mirren in the Premiership. Duffy had scored the equaliser in the game. His tweet said that the defender was ‘happy for another goal’ and also said ‘+3 points’.
Apart from Duffy, James Forrest had also scored for Celtic. The Hoops had come back from 1-0 down to pick up all three points away from home.
Duffy’s tweet caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who made their delight very clear for the Irishman.

Duffy’s goal on Wednesday meant that he’s now scored two goals in just as many games for the Bhoys, as he had found the back of the net in the club’s 5-0 win over Ross County as well (as per Transfermarkt).
The 28-year-old, who had joined Celtic earlier this summer, has now picked up a season rating of 8.50 for the Hoops and that is a reflection of how good he has been so far at his new club.
Some other Celtic fans were also raving about the Irish defender’s latest tweet.
Fantastic start to your Celtic career ??

Two goals in two games. Both headers from set pieces. This is exactly what we’ve been lacking in previous seasons. Welcome to the party Shane!!! ?

Against St. Mirren, the 28-year-old picked up a Whoscored rating of 7.74 and it is a reflection of how it was an impressive performance from him.
The fact that he’s started the season very well and he happens to be a Celtic fan explains why the Hoops fans have a liking for the defender. They can only hope that he plays a key role in helping them win their tenth Premiership title in a row this season.
