Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet that the club’s midfielder David Turnbull recently relayed on social media.

Which player played the highest number of minutes in all competitions for Celtic in the 2019/20 season?

This tweet from the new Celtic signing caught the attention of many Hoops fans. They flocked to this post and made their positive opinion clear about the Scottish midfielder.

Turnbull joined Celtic from Motherwell this summer for a fee that could reach £3.25m. He made his first appearance for the Bhoys in their recent 5-0 win over Ross County and he played 13 minutes of the game as well. The midfielder’s move to Parkhead came around 14 months after a previous move to Celtic Park had collapsed in the summer of 2019.

Some other Celtic fans also discussed Turnbull’s tweet and they made their opinion very clear about him.

These Celtic fans already have a lot of appreciation for Turnbull and one fan believes that the Scotsman could end up being Scott Brown’s replacement in the future.

While Turnbull could pick up a rating of only 6.16 against Ross County in a limited number of minutes, he impressed for Motherwell earlier in the campaign. He scored once for them, picking up a Whoscored rating of 7.25 (as per WhoScored).

Celtic fans can only hope that he replicates his form from Motherwell and starts impressing Neil Lennon once he begins to get regular first-team football for the Parkhead-based club.
