Starting with an easy one - which club did Celtic sign Moussa Dembele from?

Castles spent a bit of time talking about Odsonne Edouard’s future while offering his views on Neil Lennon’s side after interest emerged from Arsenal in the striker.

However, it looks like a few of the clubs who were interested in buying the Frenchman do not stand a chance.

It seems as if the likes of West Ham United and Aston Villa, who co-host Ian McGarry had mentioned were interested in signing Edouard, are not going to be able to sign him because he has his sights set higher.

He said: “[There is] certainly a lot of interest throughout several clubs in the Premier League, and what I am hearing is that certain clubs at the lower end of the Premier League have been told ‘forget about trying to recruit him’, because some of the top clubs [are] going to be his destination.”

Do you think Edouard will stay at Celtic?

TIF Thoughts…

This could be seen as good news for the Bhoys because it means that there are fewer clubs able to buy the 22-year-old, while his agent has recently confirmed that Edouard is ‘happy‘ in Scotland and that winning 10 titles in a row is ‘important‘ to him.

If interest from a top club doesn’t materialise, Edouard may well stay at Celtic Park.

However, if Arsenal’s interest does become more serious, Celtic could have a harder job holding onto Edouard.

Last season, the Frenchman scored 27 goals in all competitions, and this season he has four in four games already, so you can see why many clubs are interested.

Still, we think that unless the Gunners come up with a serious offer, Edouard could be staying at Celtic Park this season because it looks like he won’t move to a lower top-flight club down south.
