Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to an image of Tanguy Ndombele in training with the north London club.
Hotspur Related shared the image of the Frenchman on Twitter after it was originally shared in a gallery of images on the club’s website, and it has subsequently attracted the attention of a lot of Lilywhites supporters on social media.
The 23-year-old joined Spurs from Lyon in a club-record deal last summer but endured a torrid debut season in the Premier League, with regular fitness issues proving to be a problem.
The French international made just 12 starts in the top-flight, averaging a less than impressive 6.71 rating (per WhoScored). However, his performances in the Champions League, where he earned a 7.34 average rating across six appearances will perhaps give Spurs fans some hope that he can enjoy a much more successful campaign in the 2020/21 season, provided he can stay fit.
Do you think Ndombele is match fit?
