Spurs fans on Twitter have flocked to a post from Harry Kane following Spurs’ penalty shootout win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.
Jose Mourinho’s side progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition with the win against the Blues after Erik Lamela’s equaliser took the game to penalties, where Mason Mount’s miss saw the Lilywhites progress (per BBC).
Following the game, Kane posted on Twitter, saying: ‘Get innnnnn!! Love that. Win on pens and quarter-finals to come.’
The 27-year-old came off the bench during the game and also tucked away his penalty in the shootout (per WhoScored).
The England captain has started the season in fine form for Spurs, having contributed one goal and five assists in just three Premier League appearances, averaging a superb 7.94 rating (per WhoScored).
