How well can you remember the last week of Spurs action? 1. Who scored Spurs' first goal in the win against KF Shkendija?

One of the teams that he spent some time on was Tottenham Hotspur and what could happen with Ryan Sessegnon before the end of the transfer window.

It seems as if a few of the clubs interested in taking the 20-year-old on loan would want an option to buy included but Daniel Levy does not want to sell Sessegnon.

However, despite this, Ornstein does believe that a loan move for the former Fulham man will be found.

He said: “I don’t see Daniel Levy wanting to sell him, so it would be a loan.

“That’s again another one that’s slightly complex because those clubs that are looking at him the likes of Brighton [& Hove Albion], Southampton, Hertha Berlin [and] maybe Ajax, would want a loan with an option to buy Sessegnon.

“Daniel Levy wouldn’t want to give that option, he would just want him to go on loan and get game time. So, I do think a loan will happen before the deadline for Sessegnon.”

Do you think a loan move for Sessegnon is a good thing?

Yes, could be a great idea

No, we should keep him in the squad

TIF Thoughts…

The 20-year-old, who is valued at £22.5m by Transfermarkt, has only made 12 first-team appearances for Spurs since he moved to North London from Fulham in the summer of 2019.

Sessegnon is versatile, but in all of the positions he can play, there is competition in Spurs’ squad, so you can see why a loan move might be a good thing.

He is only 20 and can still have a bright future for Tottenham, but a loan move to get some game time could be beneficial for all parties involved, and it is good to see that Ornstein believes a loan will happen.
