The journalist shared the news on Twitter that Jose Mourinho confirmed in his post-match press conference that the South Korean should be back in action for Spurs following the international break which is set to take place in early October.
The 28-year-old came off at half-time against Newcastle United last weekend and whilst the Portuguese manager confirmed that he had picked up a hamstring injury, he didn’t provide a particularly specific timeframe for how long the winger might be sidelined for.
Therefore, to hear that the former Bayer Leverkusen man will be back in a matter of weeks, rather than months, is surely great news for the Lilywhites, as Son has started the season in electric form, having contributed five goals in five club appearances in all competitions, averaging a superb 8.10 rating for his performances in the Premier League (per WhoScored).
