Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a reported update on Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, which suggests that the Serie A side have lowered their asking price for the 26-year-old.
According to Sky Sports Italy (via Hotspur Related), Gli Azzurri have dropped their asking price to €35 million (£32.3 million) for the Polish international. It can certainly be argued that the north London club’s priority in the rest of the transfer window should be to sign a striker, especially when you consider the lack of options Jose Mourinho was left with up front last season following the injury to Harry Kane.
The North London club have been regularly linked with a move for Milik in the past, so perhaps this reduction in price will encourage them to make their move, although with the Napoli man having less than one year left on his current contract, you would imagine that the Lilywhites would want to negotiate an even lower fee for the £28.8 million-rated man.
Should Spurs pay the fee for Milik?

He got 21 goals and assists for Napoli last season and is an international with Poland . Has Experience playing in the UCL and is 26 years old. This could be a perfect back/competition for Harry Kane and we can get him on the cheap. PLEASE LORD LEVY #COYS #BackJose

35 mil to 25 mil with Levy
A 20 mil on Reg
Levy masterclass in the process.

Plenty of Spurs fans want to see Milik brought in, although some feel that Napoli should lower their asking price even further.
Please just pay it

With Levy tax, I’d say 25 and we should 100% go for it

The Levy effect in full force, watch it go down even lower https://t.co/q2CtABIcq0

Overall, it seems as if the majority of Spurs fans are hoping that the Lilywhites can bring Milik in this summer, although they may want to see a further reduction in price first.
