Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been responding to a Twitter post from @Daily_Hotspur in which they relayed a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness) regarding the future of the £28.8m-rated forward Arkadiusz Milik.
According to the report, the Lilywhites have made the Polish international an offer worth €5m (£4.61m) per year to sign a pre-contract agreement in January that would see him sign for the club on a free transfer next summer.
It is also said that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy could be pressuring the Partenopei to sell the player for cheaper than their reported €25m (£23.06m) asking price during this window given his current contract is due to expire in June 2021 (as per Transfermarkt).
Here is how a sample of the club’s supporters have responded to this latest report.
Buy him now that 20m to get him could get us UCl football

Are you confident Spurs will land Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli?
Yes
No
It’s clear from the above responses that some of these fans are concerned that Spurs could end up missing out on the Serie A striker and do not approve of Levy’s methods when it comes to transfer negotiations. More of the Lilywhites faithful made their feelings known in the replies.
Cmonnnnnn pay the 25mil

Milik made 26 appearances in the Italian top-flight last season, scoring 11 goals (as per WhoScored). His average performance rating was a solid 6.88/10 and therefore it could be argued he may be the right man to provide support to Harry Kane during the course of the 2020/21 season.
