Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have taken to social media to react to a Twitter post from @thespursweb in which they shared a video from Sky Sports with an update on the future of Serge Aurier.
The north London club paid £22.5m to bring the Ivorian to the Premier League from Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017 (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk) but recently, he has been linked with a move away, to AC Milan specifically.
According to Sky Sports (as per Football Daily via @thespursweb), talks between the two clubs have “stalled over the valuation of the player” but the Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen remain interested in the 27-year-old. Following this update, here is how a sample of the club’s supporters have responded.
We need to sell to buy ….yet levy making it difficult to get rid of players because of ridiculous valuations!!!
The margin between us and the top4 was was big enough with everyone else adding quality…..it’s just got a whole lot bigger

He’s not worth 20m , take the 15m and move on

For goodness sake just sell him before we get lumbered and can’t buy anyone else

Are Spurs demanding too much for Serge Aurier?
Yes
No
It’s clear from some of the above responses that not all of these Tottenham fans agree with Daniel Levy and the club’s valuation of the right-back. These supporters, however, were confident the reported interest from Bayer Leverkusen could materialise into a move for the player with one suggesting they should be looking to bring Leon Bailey the other way.
Fair enough over to Leverkusen

According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Aurier’s current value stands at £14.4m, which suggests the Italian club are justified in not wanting to pay much more.
