Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs news Twitter account @thespursweb which includes a link to a report that was recently published by The Express that shares some alleged news regarding the Lilywhites’ pursuit of Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik.
It has been claimed that Spurs are interested in the Poland international in recent months and now, according to The Express, Jose Mourinho’s side are ‘ready to move in’ for the 26-year-old, as the north London club are ‘eager to sign a striker to provide competition for Harry Kane’.
This article from The Express claims that Napoli have set an asking price of ‘around £26m’ for the striker and the report also claims that Milik is ‘keen on a move to the Premier League’.
After this report on Spurs’ interest in the Polish striker was posted on Twitter by @thespursweb, plenty of Tottenham supporters replied to the tweet to share their thoughts on this alleged news.
Tottenham are considering a move for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik. The Serie A side are ready to sell former Ajax striker Milik, whose contract runs out next summer, but who has told Napoli that he does not want to sign a new deal. https://t.co/mYjmvFwNAO

Many of the Tottenham fans who replied to this post were positive about the idea of their club signing the Napoli man, with one particular Spurs supporter declaring that they would take Milik at the Lilywhites ‘any day of the week.’
If We Get This Done I’d Be Ecstatic, Proven Player And Cheaper Then Watkins?
I Would Take Him Any Day Of The Week

He’s good and we can sign him for less than what Villa paid for Watkins, do it quickly!

However, some of the Spurs fans who replied to this post shared some doubt over the likelihood that their club will actually complete this signing.
Of course we are we couldn’t sign Watkins or Wilson so do you think we are really going to sign milik

Considering FC, won’t believe it until he wears the shirt and is in the starting 11

Would Milik be a good signing for Spurs?
YES
NO
So, judging by the replies to this tweet, it appears as though Milik would generally be a popular signing amongst Spurs supporters.
Considering that Spurs’ lack of depth at the centre forward position was exposed last season during an ‘injury crisis’, it may be understandable why the club might want to recruit some depth in this position in the current transfer window and with that in mind, it mightn’t be a surprise that most of these Tottenham fans would seemingly like to see their club sign the 26-year-old Napoli man.
