Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been flocking to a Twitter post that was shared by Football.london journalist Alasdair Gold.
The tweet which was shared by the reporter was regarding the transfer links with Real Madrid duo Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon.
According to Gold’s Twitter post, deals for both players will be announced by the north London club on Friday (per Alasdair Gold).
The post also explained that the two players have completed most of their medicals in Spain and Spurs will be paying 40% of Bale’s wages in a loan deal.
Lots of Spurs fans then flocked to this to air their thoughts on it.
I understand Spurs hope to announce deals for both Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon tomorrow. Both players have had their MRI checks and completed most of their medicals in Spain. On the loan deal for Bale, it's closer to a 60/40 split on his wages with Spurs picking up the 40.

During the 2019/20 season, Reguilon was in impressive form for Sevilla during a season-long loan move as he picked up an impressive 7.10/10 over 31 La Liga appearances (per WhoScored).
For Real Madrid, Bale was in less impressive form but still relatively solid as he earned a 6.82/10 average rating over 16 appearances in the Spanish top flight.

As recently stated by The Athletic, Bale’s wages with Los Blancos currently total £600,000 per week, so, judging from Gold’s tweet, Spurs will be paying around £240,000 of that for his services.
