Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to a tweet from Spurs-focused Twitter account @HotspurRelated which shares some news concerning Lilywhites left-back Danny Rose that recently emerged in a report from the Evening Standard

Rose has made just five appearances for Spurs since Jose Mourinho became the north London club’s manager last November. The full-back left the Lilywhites to join Newcastle United on loan from January until the end of July

As per the Evening Standard, the 30-year-old Englishman ‘is hoping an overseas club will offer him a route out of Tottenham this summer’. This report explains that Tottenham ‘believe it will be tough to find a suitable Premier League buyer’ for the player, who is said to be ‘desperate for regular football this season’.

The Evening Standard’s report also states that Rose was ‘keen to join’ Internazionale in January before the Serie A club opted to sign Ashley Young instead, while Lazio ‘have also been linked’ with a move for the Spurs left-back.

After this news was shared via a tweet by @HotspurRelated, plenty of Tottenham supporters flocked to it as they shared their thoughts on Rose and the possibility of him departing from Spurs.

Many of the Spurs fans who replied to this post indicated that they wouldn’t mind seeing Rose leave the north London club in the current transfer window.

Judging by the replies to this tweet, it appears as though lots of Spurs fans would be happy to see Rose leave the club in the current transfer window if the club manages to find a willing buyer for the player.

Considering that Spurs sent him out on loan in January and the player also seems to be eager to leave the Lilywhites, a Tottenham departure for Rose may suit all parties involved and it may not be too surprising to see the 30-year-old move away from the north London club before the window shuts.
