In the latest video for his YouTube channel, Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold has been discussing the latest goings-on at Tottenham Hotspur, with a focus on their recent signings of Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid.

One topic of discussion during the video was Spurs’ transfer plans for the rest of the summer window, which is set to close in October. The north London club have now made five signings thus far, with Reguilon and Bale following Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Joe Hart and Matt Doherty through the door but it seems from what Gold suggests that the Lilywhites are not done yet.

Spurs fans: How well can you remember the last week of THFC action? - 1. Who scored Spurs' first goal of the season?

Here’s what the journalist had to say during the video:

“There’s more to come. Tottenham Hotspur are not done. They are not. They are still looking for another target-man striker, another option up front.”

TIF Thoughts…

Perhaps with the loan signing of Bale, who has featured as a striker at times in his career, Spurs fans might have thought that their transfer business for this window at least would be over, but Gold seems certain that the Lilywhites will add a natural forward to their ranks before the window shuts.

Do you still think Spurs will sign a striker?

No

Wolfsburg striker Wout Weghorst is the latest striker to be linked with a move to north London, although the journalist has recently suggested that any stories suggesting he was close to a move were wide of the mark, so it seems as if Jose Mourinho’s side will have to look elsewhere if they want to add back-up to Harry Kane.

Mourinho suggested in a recent press conference that the England captain is set to feature against Leyton Orient on Tuesday, you would argue that they need to act fast to ensure that the 27-year-old doesn’t overextend himself and end up injured in a similar way to last season.
