Supporters of Newcastle United have recently reacted to a transfer link between the Toon and Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Steve Bruce is interested in acquiring the services of the 26-year-old Italian.
However, it is also stated in the report that David Moyes’ West Ham United may provide Newcastle with competition for the player as both clubs have ‘strong interest‘ in him.
This report was relayed to the St. James’ Park faithful by NUFC 360 and it had lots of them flocking to it to air their opinion.

The Italian defender currently has four years left on his contract with his Serie A outfit and a market value of £10.8m according to Transfermarkt.
Would you be happy if Newcastle signed Daniele Rugani?

During the 2019/20 Serie A season, Rugani made 10 league appearances for the Old Lady in which he neither scored nor assisted a goal (per WhoScored).
In those outings, the centre-back earned an uninspiring 6.41/10 average rating which made him Juventus’ ninth-worst performer in the league.
The same average rating for the Toon in the Premier League last season would have also made Rugani Newcastle’s ninth-worst performer.
Player number 2,354,347 we been linked with…how many did we sign???? Five ?????

As can be seen in these responses from Newcastle fans, there was a mixed bag of reactions regarding the transfer link with the 26-year-old Italian.
