A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from NUFC 360, which includes a link to an article from Craig Hope in the Daily Mail about the Toon’s medical staff.
Hope claims that Michael Harding and Wayne Farrage, two senior members of Newcastle’s medical team, have been stood down while an internal investigation is ongoing.
The club have not confirmed what the investigation relates to, though people from within the club do not expect either Harding or Farrage to return at this moment in time.
It is also claimed that both are popular with the players, and many are shocked at the sudden absence of both individuals.
This post has drawn the attention of these Toon fans, who seem annoyed following this story.
Was this a needless post to publish?
Yes, could have waited for another time
No, had to be done
There’s ALWAYS some bad news that ruins a good result. Typical Newcastle ?

This article was published on the same night that Newcastle had beaten Morecambe 7-0 in the Carabao Cup, so we can see why these Toon fans are frustrated, with the timing potentially taking the gloss off a big win.
This post continued to draw the attention of many Newcastle fans, who can’t be bothered with Hope’s negativity.
Even if it’s factually correct is it worth reporting? Is this @CraigHope_DM trying to unsettle us again? Divvent trust anyone who writes for the daily mail. Never have, never will.

If it’s written by Craig Hope, take it with a pinch of salt.

Craig loves to dig up trouble. May be something, may be nothing.
Article could easily be framed as the club finally following proper processes, after the farce of the Beardsley situation.— ThomasB (@TJB31052011) September 24, 2020
It is unclear what this internal investigation is about, but if this report is to be believed, then it looks like Harding and Farrage are not coming back to Tyneside, and the Toon might have to start looking for some new members for the medical team.
It will be interesting to see what happens with this story and whether it is indeed the end for these two popular staff members’ careers at Newcastle.
