Many Leeds United fans have been talking about the latest tweet that their former player Luciano Becchio recently posted on social media.
Becchio posted an image of the Leeds United players celebrating their Championship triumph at the end of last season. The caption of the tweet read ‘A lot of emotion. I love this great club’. He tagged the official Leeds United Twitter account in the post and put the hashtag #TakeUsHome in there as well.
This tweet from the club’s former player caught the attention of many Leeds United fans, who made their opinion clear about Becchio.

Becchio was at Elland Road for some months less than five years. He had joined the club from Spanish side Merida in the summer of 2008 and he stayed at Leeds until January of 2013 when he left for Norwich City (as per Transfermarkt).
Some other Leeds fans also began sharing some appreciation for their former player in response to his latest tweet.
So great you were part of the journey with Jermaine https://t.co/4pG92uuiv7

Becchio has now retired from playing professionally but the Argentine made as many as 219 appearances for the Whites. He scored a total of 86 goals for the club and even racked up 20 assists for Leeds. He was a striker by trade and going by that, had a decent goal contribution rate at Elland Road.
Keeping that in mind, it is understandable why Leeds United fans still have a liking for the player and still remember his contributions to the club very fondly.
