Many Leeds United supporters have been responding to a Twitter post from their recent signing Robin Koch. The Whites signed the 24-year-old German international defender from SC Freiburg on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee (as per Sky Sports).
The centre-back shared an image of himself lacing up his boots with the caption: ‘Back to work’ – before tagging Leeds United’s official account.
Here is how a sample of the Elland Road faithful responded to the post.
Welcome to the Leeds family Robin, you’re one of us now. You’re gonna love it here especially when fans are allowed back into Elland Road, it will be something special.

Are you confident Koch can be as successful as Ben White at Leeds?
Yes
No
Koch was a part of the German squad that drew with both Spain and Switzerland during this recent round of UEFA Nations League fixtures (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk). Judging by the above responses, it is clear that these fans can’t wait to see him in action in their famous White strip.

Koch made 32 appearances in the Bundesliga last season for Freiburg and according to WhoScored.com, his average performance rating in the league was a solid 6.73/10. Given the club were unable to re-sign Ben White from Brighton and Hove Albion after they had a number of bids rejected for the 22-year-old who spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Elland Road, Germany international Koch, in our view, appears to be a capable replacement and somebody who the fans seem to be very excited about.
