A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a post from Fabrizio Romano that has relayed news on Rodrigo de Paul amid ongoing interest from the Whites in the midfielder.
Romano’s tweet includes quotes from Udinese’s sporting director Pierpaolo Marino, who claims that Leeds have not matched the asking price of €35m (£32.05m), and is hoping that the Argentinian will stay.
This has drawn the attention of these Leeds fans, who just want their club to pay the money.
Do you think Leeds should just pay the asking price?

Leeds have been interested in De Paul for a while now, but they have not agreed on a fee and are refusing to meet Udinese’s asking price.
The player clearly is keen to move to Elland Road as some of his Twitter activity shows, namely the tweet he put out that claimed he wanted to move to Leeds.
However, until the Whites can agree a fee, De Paul will not be heading to west Yorkshire.
This post continued to draw the attention of many Leeds fans.
Any chance of the sides meeting somewhere in the middle or Udinese sticking to their guns on this one?

There is still time in the transfer window for Leeds to sort out a deal for De Paul, but it seems clear that the Whites have to match Udinese’s demands.
However, there is better news on the transfer front for the Whites with the club closing in on the signing of Diego Llorente.
With regards to De Paul, it appears as if the deal is there to be done, but the Serie A side want their €35m (£32.05m) for the 26-year-old, and it will be interesting to see if the Whites sort out a deal for the Udinese man before the deadline.
